Membership is annual, and must be renewed each year if you wish to continue to be a member. Renewal is due on the 1st of March each year; this does mean that the initial memberships that people took out ran for less than a full year, but it is too complicated to have each member have their own renewal date.


Types of membership

There are three types of membership, depending on whether it is an individual (resident within our area or not), and organisation or a junior

Ordinary Membership

for residents within the area covered by Kilmelford and Kilninver Community Council (see website for list of postcodes). Must support the Company's objectives. Entitled to vote at general meetings and AGMs and stand for election to Board. Minimum £10 or, if aged between 16 and 25, minimum £5.

Associate Membership

for those not resident within the area covered by Kilmelford and Kilninver Community Council, and all organisations. Must support the Company's objectives. Not entitled to vote at general meetings and AGMs or stand for election to Board, but can have a say and show support. Minimum £10 or, if aged between 16 and 25, minimum £5.

Junior Membership

for ages 12 to 15. No residence qualification but must support Company's objectives. Not entitled to vote at general meetings and AGMs or stand for election to Board, but can have a say and show support. Minimum £1.
